WIN= "What I Need"--- 30 minutes
This is an intervention time for mathematics. Students are placed in groups based upon needs (NWEA Testing Reports). I will work with students at their level of readiness.
While working with groups, my students will be completing other tasks independently. Compass Learning, which matches the NWEA test, Front Row fact practice, and Prodigy math game are the main components for the independent workers.
Students will be graded for this time based upon participation, attitude, and effort. On Wednesdays, due to late start, we will not have WIN time. When I work and assess students during our reading block, I may also pull aside some students for progress monitoring for math as well.
